The Brief
A private client wanted openness and light without sacrificing the privacy that villa life in the UAE demands. The answer could not be curtains and tinted glass. It had to be the plan itself.
The Concept
The villa wraps around a central courtyard with an olive tree and a still pool, so the largest glazed walls face inward to the family's own garden rather than the street. Full-height glazing dissolves the boundary between majlis, courtyard and water.
Materials & Light
Slim-profile dark aluminium curtain walls, sand-toned render, natural stone decks and warm interior light layered for the evening scene.
The Outcome
A home that is transparent to itself and opaque to the world, visualised across a full day-to-night sequence so the client could feel the house at every hour before construction began.
