Design a villa that feels like a resort without importing the energy bill of one.
The Concept
Thick walls, deep loggias, water close to the main rooms and a tight, shaded courtyard sequence: the region's oldest cooling strategies, drawn in a modern hand.
Materials & Light
Textured stone, warm plaster, dark-framed glazing and still-water pools placed to pre-cool prevailing breezes.
The Outcome
A passive-first retreat where comfort comes from the plan before it comes from the plant room.
